Next, configure GNS3 SERVER to set the local port to 8001, as noted in the following figure

Remote service port cannot conflict with local service port. Install and set up IOU after saving

Open VMware workstation 11, select Open in the start menu, open the IOU file we downloaded, select the import directory and name, and then import it. During the import process, there may be an error that checks the hardware environment, and then you can import normally after ignoring it. Open the settings of the virtual machine after import, and modify the network interface as shown in the following figure

After setting up, modify the IP address of VMnet1 and the address of remote host in GNS3 to the same network segment.

After setting up, the virtual machine starts up, and after entering the system, the default account / password is root/cisco.

After entering, check ifconfig to see whether the interface IP is consistent with the remote host address set in GNS3. If it is inconsistent, you need to edit the nano / etc/network/interfaces file and modify the address to the following figure.

After the modification, save the file and restart the server, the IP address can be modified successfully. You can not only restart the network card, but only restart the network card. You cannot modify the IP address. After restarting, enter the system to query that the IP has been modified successfully, and the local host test can ping OK.

Then type: http://192.168.100.100:8000/upload in the host browser to start uploading the iou version of the IOS file.

Do not close the page after the long pass, it has the relevant IOS storage path, so that the IOU is set up.

Then start configuring the settings in GNS3:

First set the path to iourc in GNS3 and add the license file. The license file is a txt text with two lines of code written into it.

After adding iounc, enter IOU devices, select new, and add devices.

Select the remote service to see if the IP and port are the same as the one we set up earlier

After Next, an alarm pops up, requiring you to enter the path. After that, ok starts to enter the following page.

Give the device a name, and the path will be affixed to the directory of the corresponding device you just saw in the browser. Pay attention to removing the spaces, and choose whether it is a layer 2 device or a layer 3 device, as shown in the following figure.

After Finish, the corresponding devices are added. Then you can use it after apply.

Pull out the device to connect the Internet cable and turn it on using SECRT.

At this point, the IOU bridging of GNS3 is complete.
