3. Permanently modify the hostname

1. Method 1: use hostnamectl command

[root@fangjian ~] # hostnamectl set-hostname Brace # set the user name permanently and will not fail [root@fangjian ~] # hostnamebrace after shutdown

2. Method 2: modify configuration file / etc/hostname save and exit

[root@fangjian ~] # vi / etc/hostname # enter vi, delete the old hostname and enter the new hostname. After Esc, the colon wq exits and saves the brace # reboot restart takes effect.
