Problem phenomenon

A V7 WA4320H-ACN device in a certain office needs to be switched from AP to fat AP due to the insufficient number of license on the existing AC equipment. Cause analysis

After consulting the data, the thin AP of the V7 version confirmed that there was no corresponding fat version of the V7 that could be used, and negotiated with the field engineer to recommend that it downgrade the AP to the fat AP of V5.

Won't there be a trap if you get the fat AP smoothly?

NO WAY.

To configure fat AP, first open wireless tasks, access tasks, create new SSID and other functional sub-items, note that the password must be entered correctly.

Bind RF, after turning on, found that Android phone can be used, iPhone can not be used!

Why? Is there something wrong with the encryption?

It turns out that the DHCP pool is not equipped with DNS, iPhone is not connected with domestic phones, and without DNS, it is considered that the network cannot be used.

The above pits are the most impressive, and the bad contact of the jumper will lead to intermittent transmission. It is normal for AP to obtain IP when the port is frequently UP,DOWN at the beginning. Be patient.

This AP transfer really encountered a pit, but also blame my wireless experience is too little, plus time is tight, did not eat, sleep did not sleep, now the recall is also sour. Fortunately, the task was successfully completed, but in retrospect, the meaning of those pits is not enough!
