Define aliases for tables and fields

When querying, you can give tables and fields an alias that replaces their specified tables and fields. Aliasing fields and tables makes the query more convenient. And the query results can be displayed in a more reasonable way.

Alias the table

When the table name is particularly long, it is inconvenient to use the table name directly in the query. At this point, you can give the table an appropriate alias.

Example:

SELECT * from info i where i.age=33

Alias the field

When querying data, MySQL displays the nouns for each output column. By default, the column name displayed is the column name that was defined when the table was created. We can also give this column an alias.

Example:

SELECT score as s, age as a from info

SELECT score s, age a from info; # as can be omitted
