This article mainly explains "what are the accessibility of the operation database". Interested friends may wish to have a look. The method introduced in this paper is simple, fast and practical. Let's let Xiaobian take you to learn "what are the accessibility of the operation database"!

Cloudera Operational Database (OpDB) is a scale-out database management system (DBMS) designed to scale linearly to petabytes of data. Like all DBMSs, horizontal scaling is achieved through slicing. Two different slicing strategies are supported:

·Automatic sectioning

·Predefined slices

Either way, there are APIs that enable slicing based on hashing, ranges of values, and combinations of both. Auto-tiling When auto-tiling is enabled, tables are dynamically distributed throughout the cluster and automatically split and moved between servers in the cluster when the tile size exceeds a configurable limit.

A table segment is divided into two parts at the middle key, creating two roughly equal halves that can be served by different servers. Auto-slicing applies regardless of the network (WAN or local) used with OpDB. Clusters can be set up to span the WAN, in which case slicing and data movement will occur over the WAN with zero data loss. The system can be configured to know which node is located in which data center, which can provide additional resiliency to slices because copies of slices can be spread across multiple data centers. Predefined slices can be policy-based, often restricting fragmentation to a specific subset of nodes in a cluster in a tenant-specific manner. This allows geographically-based policies to be implemented. Tables can then be replicated between clusters and set by policies to ensure that replication of tables and their associated tiles is restricted to desired geographic locations.

Cloudera's OpDB provides local support for data sovereignty. If the cluster spans multiple countries, zone server groups can be used with HDFS Rack isolation configurations to anchor data in specific countries. Query Cloudera provides three query engines optimized for different types of use cases, including operational and analytical use cases and NoSQL interfaces to achieve optimized performance across a variety of operational and data warehouse workloads. This allows queries and data joins to be performed across multiple slices.

Cloudera's OpDB provides a native OLTP SQL engine that supports querying multiple data and object models, including queries and joins across them. Our two OLAP query engines can be used to map external tables that reside in our OpDB (or elsewhere) and query or join between them for typical data warehouse analysis. Cloudera, a data consolidation tool, provides tools for integration with data warehousing and federated query processing.

For example:

·Batch export to data warehouses provided by Flink, Spark, Hive and MapReduce

· Nifi provides export streaming to the data warehouse

Phoenix, Impala and Hive provide on-site data queries from our OpDB

Hive provides federated query processing across our OpDB, data warehouse solutions and third-party data warehouse solutions

Cloudera's OpDB contains many Hadoop tools and integrates with most Hadoop ecosystems.

Our OpDB provides NoSQL and SQL interfaces. The interface has no limitations and is well supported in the Hadoop community. Mobile OpDB MiNiFi can be used on portable devices at the edge and provides data connectivity with OpDB.

Query Editor HUE can run on mobile or portable devices.

Standard-based connectivity In addition to direct API access to our data stores and tools, Cloudera also provides JDBC and ODBC drivers delivered through the SQL engine. At this point, I believe that everyone has a deeper understanding of "what is the accessibility of the operation database". It is advisable to actually operate it!
