Shulou(Shulou.com)06/02 Report--

In order to facilitate file transfer, especially when transferring a wide range of files in the same local area network, put the files that need to be transferred into the shared folder, which is undoubtedly more efficient than U disk, network disk and so on. So how to set up the shared folder?

When two computers are networked, as long as the two computers are wired or wirelessly connected to the router, and the IP address sent by the router is automatically obtained, the two computers form a local area network. if the two computers need to share files, the following steps need to be taken:

1. Both computers are connected to the same router.

2. Right-click on the desktop network-Properties-change the advanced sharing settings

3. Select the public network-select the following options: start network discovery-start file and printer sharing-enable sharing so that users who can access the network can read and write files in the public folder (optional)-turn off password protected sharing (other options use default values)

4. Save and confirm.

5. Select the folder or drive letter to be shared, and right-click-- Properties.

6. Open the Security tab-Select Edit-add-everyone.

7. Open the sharing tab-Select sharing-pop-up dialog box-add "Guest"-share.

8. Select Advanced sharing-choose to share this file-OK

9. Select Advanced share-Select share this file-- Select permission-- add everyone.

10. Double-click on another computer to open the network, and the folder or drive letter you just shared will appear. Note: in order to prevent unexpected errors, please turn off the firewalls on both computers.

However, after turning on the shared folder function, some users are unable to access it. What is the reason and how should it be solved?

The specific solutions are as follows:

1. Network neighbor → Local connection → attribute, "see if file and printer sharing on microsoft network is installed"

Control panel → Management tools → Local Security Policy → Local Policy → user Rights assignment, add the guest account in "accessing this computer from the network" and delete the guest account in "deny access to this computer from the network"

3. My computer → tools → folder options → View → remove the tick before "use simple file sharing (recommended)"

4. Control panel → Management tools → Local Security Policy → Local Policy → Security options, set "Network access: sharing and Security Mode of Local accounts" to "Guest only-Guest Authentication of Local users" (optional, this setting removes the dialog box that requires a password during access, or it can be set to "Classic-Local users authenticate with their own identity" as appropriate)

5. Right-click the "my computer" → property "→" computer name to see if your LAN workgroup name, such as "workgroup", appears in this tab. Then click the "Network ID" button to start the "Network identity Wizard": click "next" and select "this computer is part of a business network and use it to connect to other working computers"; click "next" and select "companies use networks without domains" Click the "next" button, then enter the workgroup name of your local area network, such as "work", click the "next" button again, and finally click the "finish" button to complete the settings.

Sixth, open GUEST users, and then modify the registry, the hkey-local-machine/system/currentcontrolset/control/lsa/restrictanonymous value is set to 0, restart the computer, you can access.
