II. Phenomenon

When exporting a composite. Interval, or system partitioned table using conventional export utility, it fails with EXP-6 and EXP-0 errors:

EXP-00006: internal inconsistency error

EXP-00000: Export terminated unsuccessfully

III. Solutions

Use * * Data Pump** to perform exports of composite and interval partitioning and system partitioned tables as this is the recommended method.

IV. Suggestions

1. 11g try not to use exp to back up the database, use data pump

2. Use the new features of the database carefully and be familiar with the new features

3. The development department and the big data department should have a complete test to prevent the test from being inadequate and cause production problems.
