The exclusive file sharing of expert network is one of the main aspects of local area network applications in enterprises and institutions, and special sharing servers are usually built based on this need. In fact, enterprises and institutions now have their own Web server, if they use the Web server platform based on Windows Server 2008, building a special file server is not the only choice, we can borrow Web channel to achieve file sharing. 1. Realization ideas

Using the new features of Windows Server 2008, the server running Web is configured to realize file sharing. Through mobile sharing configuration, site content is mapped to the storage of a file server, and through easy configuration, different servers use shared configuration storage without any modification.

2. Implementation process

(1) .Web site configuration

Create a new application pool

Log in to the Web server as an administrator (administrator), and click on the "start" → administrative tool "→" Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager to open the IIS 7 Manager window. Expand Web (server name) on the left side of Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager, then click Application Pool, in the actions panel, click add Application Pool, enter InternalWebSite in name in the add Application Pool dialog box, and then click OK to exit. (figure 1)

Create a new site

In the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager, expand sites, then click Default Web Site, right-click Default Web Site, and then click Delete. In the confirm deletion dialog box, click Yes. Next, continue to click site in the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager, then click add site in the Action menu, complete the add site dialog box using the following settings, and click OK when the input is complete. Where "site name" is "InternalWebSite", "physical path" is "D:\ InternalSite", and "binding" is "default". In the actions panel, click "Browse *: 80 (http)" to open Internet Explorer for site resolution. If the resolution is correct, it means that the configuration is successful, and finally close the IE browser. (figure 2)
