Commands for creating a new password file

Orapwd file=orapwcapaas (orapw+ database SID) password=Oracle123 (password of SYS user) entries=10 (maximum attempts)

Orapwd file=orapwwubin01 password=oracle123 entries=10 (this is right)

Orapwd file = orapwwubin01 password=oracle123 entries=10 (this will report an error because there is a space before the file = orapwdsid= sign)

Error details:

Usage: orapwd file= entries= force= ignorecase= nosysdba=

Where

File-name of password file (required)

Password-password for SYS will be prompted if not specified at command line

Entries-maximum number of distinct DBA (optional)

Force-whether to overwrite existing file (optional)

Ignorecase-passwords are case-insensitive (optional)

Nosysdba-whether to shut out the SYSDBA logon (optional Database Vault only).

There must be no spaces around the equal-to (=) character.

You can try to rebuild the password file when you encounter an error ORA-01031 insufficient privileges.
