Basic installation of new instance of SQL 2008

1. Default instance installation (skip, Baidu, google)

2. Preparation: windows server 2008 R2 operating system; SQL 2008 installation package (including sn, please purchase activation code / serial number for production environment); production installation recommended to install the latest patch package (such as 64-bit: SQLServer2008SP4-KB2979596-x64-CHS)

3. Run the SQL 2008 installation package, click "install", and select "install a new SQL Server standalone or add features to an existing installation".

4. Current operating system, run program detection

5. Installation of program components

6. Installation of the installer components is complete

7. Installation type, select "execute SQL Server 2008" for new installation.

8. Fill in the product key

9. Accept the terms of the license

10. Select "named instance", fill in the name TEST02, (Note: named instance cannot contain Chinese), and select the corresponding root directory.

11. Select the service account of the appropriate service. Select "NETWORK SERVICE" for testing here, and customize the selection for the production environment.

12. Database engine authentication mode. The account is in mixed mode, and enter and add the corresponding account. The "built-in SQL Server" system administrator account is actually a sa account.
