Need to back up the MySQL database every day, there are many ways to write batch processing or command line backup on the Internet, but here to introduce the method of backup with Navicat tool, stupid operation, very simple.

As shown in the figure, together with the system database, there are a total of 12 databases. Now let's introduce how to back up all these 12 databases:

Click "Plan"-> "New batch Job"

There is a backup action of "Backup Server Localhost MySQL 5.6" by default. Then double-click it, and it is added to the following schedule queue:

Then click "Save", pop up the dialog box to set the file name, and enter the name of the plan.

After saving, set scheduled tasks on the taskbar becomes available.

Click "set scheduled tasks" and the dialog box for settings pops up. Now the password is set under the "Task" tab, which is the login password of the computer where the database is located.

Then set the schedule run time, under the "schedule" tab, click "New", and then set the specific running frequency and time point.

After setting up, and after the plan has been run, take a look at the effect of the backup. The location of the backed up files is:

"my documents"-> "Navicat"-> "MySQL"-> "servers"-> "Localhost MySQL 5.6". There are 12 folders corresponding to the data.

Take the sampledb folder as an example, which generates a 140529110822.psc file that contains the data of the library. Later can be used to restore, restore the steps will not be introduced, a very simple operation.
