1. Lab name: interworking between different VLAN of layer 2 switch (Huawei)

2. Experimental environment:

(1) PC1 PC2

(2) two layer 2 switches

(3) one layer 3 switch (routing function)

3, Experimental Topology:

2 configuration steps:

(1) configure PC1:

IP: 192.168.10.1

Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

Gateway: 192.168.10.254

(2) configure PC2

IP: 192.168.20.1

Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

Gateway: 192.168.20.254

3. Configure layer 3 switch

Note: enter system-view under user view to enter system view

[Huawei] system view

[Huawei-GigabitEthernet0/0/1] Interface View

[Huawei] vlan 10

[Huawei] interface vlan 10

[Huawei-Vlanif10] ip address 192.168.10.254 255.255.255.0

[Huawei] interface gi0/0/1

[Huawei-GigabitEthernet0/0/1] port link-type access

[Huawei-GigabitEthernet0/0/1] port default vlan 10

[Huawei-GigabitEthernet0/0/1] undo shutdown

[Huawei] vlan 20

[Huawei] interface vlan 20

[Huawei-Vlanif20] ip address 192.168.20.254 255.255.255.0

[Huawei] interface gi0/0/2

[Huawei-GigabitEthernet0/0/1] port link-type access

[Huawei-GigabitEthernet0/0/1] port default vlan 20

[Huawei-GigabitEthernet0/0/1] undo shutdown

4. Verification and testing: ping command on PC
