At the end of the above operation, press the Ctrl+S key combination on the keyboard to save, and then close to complete the modification of the Apache default web service port number. Be sure to stop (STOP) the Apache service once and then start (START) to make the changes take effect.

Note, however, that if you change the default port number (if you change Listen 80 to Listen 8080)

Then you will not be able to open the web page on the Apache server through http://localhost or http://127.0.0.1. You must add a colon + port number after the address, such as http://localhost:8080 or http://127.0.0.1:8080, in order to access the web page located in the Apache server.
