Samsung introduced two new cheap smartphones, the Galaxy A12 and Galaxy A20s. Both smartphones have been officially launched in Europe and are scheduled to go on sale in January 2021.

The Samsung Galaxy A12 comes in three versions, starting at € 179. It is available in black, blue, white and red. The phone will go on sale in Europe in January 2021. The Galaxy A02s, priced at € 150, will go on sale in February. Samsung offers the Galaxy A02 in red, black and white.

The Galaxy A12 comes with a 6.5-inch HD Infinity-V display with a notch at the top. It is powered by an unspecified eight-core processor. Smartphones are available in 3GB 32GB, 4GB 64GB and 6GB 128GB storage versions. It also has a microSD card slot that can expand storage to 1TB.

The back of the phone uses a four-camera setting with a 5 megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2 megapixel macro lens, a 48 megapixel main sensor and a 2 megapixel depth sensor. In terms of selfie, Galaxy A12 is equipped with an 8 megapixel front-facing camera.

The smartphone is also equipped with a 5000 mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. The Galaxy A12 supports 4G and is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The Galaxy A02s also features a 6.5-inch HD Infinity-V display and an eight-core processor running under the hood. It contains 3GB of memory and 32GB of onboard storage, which can be expanded to 1TB with a microSD card.

The Galaxy A02s has a triple camera setup, including a 13 megapixel main camera, a 2 megapixel macro sensor and a 2 megapixel depth sensor. It has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. The Galaxy A02s also comes with a 5, 000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging.

The Galaxy A12 and Galaxy A02 are upgrades to the Galaxy A11 and Galaxy A01s, respectively. When samsung will introduce the phone to other markets is unclear.
