Operation method 1) Select Procedures → Portions → Stratified(Cochran/Mantel-Haenszel Test) to open Tests for Two Portions in a Stratified Design (Cochran/Mantel-Haenszel Test) dialog box-Design 1 tab.

2)Click the Calculate button to get the main results. The study was divided into 2 layers, and the sample size of each layer was equal to that of the exposure group (N1=N2). N1 and N2 in each layer were 198.531×0.3333≈66 and 198.531×0.1667≈33 respectively. The total sample size was N=(66+33)×2=198, and 99 people were required for each group. If dropouts are considered, a drop-out rate of 20% is taken, and at least 124 people in each of the exposure group and the control group need to be investigated.
