There are many alternatives to Raspberry Pi, but Khadas VIM4 stands out in crowded areas with its strong muscles.

The VIM4 contains Amlogic A311D2 eight-core processors, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, Wi-Fi 6 connections, 4K/60 HDMI input and output, and separate USB 3.0 and PCIe (through M.2 slots) interfaces. The Khadas VIM3's successor ($120) will be launched on May 10 and is just beginning to revolve around the evaluation circuit. Sadly, we will have to wait for the release date pricing.

CNX Software today released the first part of VIM4's multipart review. Single-page works provide unpacking experience, take a closer look at products, accessories and quick start guides. Then there is a paragraph about the trials and tribulations of installing VIM4 in the supplied translucent shell (the size is slightly different from that of Pi). Finally, CNX starts the machine and receives an OOWOW wizard to choose which operating system to install from the cloud (you can choose Android 11 or three Ubuntu variants at the time of this writing).
