Today, with the release of AWS Re:Invent, Amazon announced the launch of DeepComposer, a machine learning-driven keyboard for developers.

"AWS DeepComposer is a 32-key, octave keyboard for developers to generate artificial intelligence. It has both pre-trained models and its own models." AWS's Julian Simon introduced the latest machine learning hardware in a blog post.

Keyboards should help developers learn machine learning in interesting ways and may create some music in the process. The field in artificial intelligence that produces creative works is called "generative artificial intelligence". In other words, it helps you teach machines to use "generate opposing networks" to generate creative things.

"developers, regardless of their ML or music background, can start by generating opposing networks (GANS). This artificial intelligence generation technology competes with two different neural networks to generate new and original digital works based on sample input. With AWS deep composer, you can train and optimize GaN models to create original music," according to Amazon.

Developers can train their own machine learning models or start learning using models provided by Amazon. Either way, you can create music based on the model, adjust it in the DeepComposer console on the AWS cloud, and then generate your music. If you like, you can share your machine-generated composition in the sound cloud when you are finished.

This is the third machine learning teaching device launched by Amazon. It added a depth lens camera launched in 2017 and a depth racing car launched last year. It is worth noting that this is just an announcement. The device is not fully ready, but Amazon allows account holders to register for preview.
