Download GolenGate installation package

Log in to the http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/goldengate/downloads/index.html official address and download the installation package

The corresponding package can be selected according to the situation of the operating system. My operating system is the Linux 64bit operating system, so choose the package with the red table box above.

1.2 install the GolenGate installation package

Upload V100692-01.zip to the server and grant the user permission:

[root@centos6_5 opt] # mv V100692-01.zip / opt/software/ [root @ centos6_5 opt] # chown-R oraarp:oinstall / opt/ Software [root @ centos6_5 opt] # chmod 777 / opt/software/

Extract the installation package

[root@centos6_5 software] # su-oraarp [oraarp @ centos6_5 ~] $cd / opt/software/ [oraarp @ centos6_5 software] $unzip V100692-01.zip

Create an installation directory for OGG with the directory / opt/ogg

[root@centos6_5 software] # mkdir-p / opt/ og [root @ centos6_5 software] # chown-R oraarp:oinstall / opt/ogg/ [root @ centos6_5 software] # chmod 755 / opt/ogg/

Log in to the Linux server using VNC and install GolenGate using OUI

Choose which database version to install to. I choose Oracle 11G here.

Select the installation directory, the directory / opt/ogg specified here. Users can choose the installation directory according to their own needs.

1.3 create subdirectories using GGSCI (using OUI, subdirectories have been created by default)

The operation instructions are as follows:

[root@centos6_5 ogg] # su-oraarp [oraarp @ centos6_5 ~] $cd / arp/ Ogg [oraarp @ centos6_5 ogg] $pwd/arp/ Ogg [oraarp @ centos6_5 ogg] $. / ggsci
