Environmental preparation

Configured service: AD domain service

IP address: 192.168.1.242

Install remote Desktop Services and IIS Service roles

In the taskbar, click the Server Manager icon shown in the following figure.

On the page shown in the following figure, check "remote Desktop Web access" and click the "next" button.

Configure IIS to enable password modification

1. On the / RDWeb/Pages page, click the Application Settings item.

2. Double-click the "PasswordChangeEnabled" item, as shown in the following figure.

3. In the pop-up "Edit Application Settings" item, change the setting value from "False" to "True". After the modification is complete, click the "OK" button.

Third, modify user password group policy restrictions

1. Enter gpmc.msc while running to open the Group Policy Editor

2. Select Forest-> Domain-- > vancen.com-- > Default Domain Policy and right-click to edit.

3. Select computer configuration-- > Policy-- > windows Settings-- > Security Settings-- > account Policy double-click to open it.

4. Enter the selected password policy

5. Change the minimum password to 0 days. (0 days means the user's password can be changed at any time)

6. Click OK, and the group policy is displayed.

7. Open cmd and use gpupdate to refresh the policy.

IV. Test password modification page

1. Next, visit the password modification page http://192.168.1.242/RDWeb/Pages/zh-CN/password.aspx. At this time, you can see that it can be opened normally.

2. Next, we conduct a password modification test. After entering the user name and password, click the "submit" button, as shown in the following figure:

Note: the words "password modification platform" in the page shown below can be modified by yourself in IIS according to the name of the enterprise platform, which is relatively simple and will not be explained here.

3. On the page shown in the following figure, you can see that you have been prompted to change the password successfully.
