For example, if BCD records that the display language of Boot Manager-related menus should be simplified Chinese, then Windows will call C:\ BOOTMGR and C:\ BOOT\ zh-cn\ BOOTMGR.EXE.MUI files to form a simplified Chinese Boot Manager menu.

If the menu language information recorded in BCD is set incorrectly, there may be a problem that the language of the Boot Manager-related menu does not match the expected language. For example, if the user first installs the Chinese version of Windows and then installs the English version of Windows to form a dual-system coexistence, then the menu language information recorded by BCD will be based on the last installed English version.

Special reminder: Boot Manager can set language information for the selection menu of the operating system that needs to be started, the F8 advanced startup menu of a specific operating system, and the memory diagnosis tool menu of Windows, so users may encounter the problem that one or more of the three menus do not match the expected language.

Users can open the CMD command prompt with administrator privileges (right-click the shortcut at the command prompt, select "run with administrator privileges" from the right menu, and need to confirm the UAC security prompt), enter and execute the following command:

BCDEDIT-SET {BOOTMGR} LOCALE ZH-CN
