Spring is coming (we guarantee it soon), and intelligent lighting company Philips Hue has launched some new products that can help you beautify your outdoor space and allow you to enjoy more outdoor time when the ice finally melts.

Signify, which owns Philips Hue, has announced the addition of three new products to its outdoor intelligent lighting product line, all of which arrive in the United States on March 1, 2022. In addition, two new lighting effects are planned to be introduced on the Hue app later this year to add functionality to its indoor smart light bulb.

Philips Hue Inara Wall Lamp ($99.99, available March 1) is a retro outdoor wall lamp with a filament bulb. The filament bulb is also known as the Edison bulb. Its "electric" filament is visible through the bulb, similar to the first incandescent bulb designed by Thomas Edison.

This traditional look is popular with lamps with exposed bulbs, and they have been everywhere indoors for some time. This is the first outdoor version we've seen, but you can't buy an outdoor light bulb separately and put it in an existing fixture because it can only be used in Inara's black retro style lanterns.

Inara does not have the color change option of Hue's iconic bulb, instead, you can adjust the brightness of the filament bulb in the application, using the remote control (sold separately) or your voice (it is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Apple's Siri and Google Assistant voice assistant.)
