How does Cloud Virtual Machine resolve domain names? We use Cloud Virtual Machine to build website. After uploading program binding domain name, we must resolve it before others can access our website through domain name.

Resolution operation is to resolve the domain name into IP, the service is completed by DNS server, resolve the domain name to an IP address, and then bind a subdirectory to the domain name on the host of this IP address.

Let's take the Cloud Virtual Machine as an example to describe how to set up domain name resolution.

1. Log in to the website member center, enter the member center, find the domain name management, and select the domain name that needs resolution.

2. After selecting the domain name, click Manage and select Domain Name Resolution. In the domain name resolution function interface, you need to add two resolution records, www and @.

3. The host name is www and @. Generally select CNAME (alias resolution) or select A record according to your type of demand; the corresponding value, select the cloud host address, fill in the address with the corresponding value, and save to complete the resolution.

A record adding method: for example, abc.com and www.abc.com are resolved to the server IP. That is, add @ A record to server IP, add www A record to server IP.

CNAME record addition method: For example, abc.com and www.abc.com are resolved to host aliases, aliases will be provided when renting hosts. If you are not clear, you can consult cloud service providers.
