The advantage of VNC is that the real operating interface is on the server side.

Although the Xshell and Xstart of Xmanager Enterprise 4 are operated by the client connecting to the server, the real operation interface is on the client. If the network is interrupted or the client has problems, the operation will be interrupted.

VNC also connects the client to the server for operation, but the real operation interface is on the server side. When the connection is interrupted due to network, client and other problems, things running on the server side will not be interrupted.

Installation and configuration in CentOS release 6.5Environment

Installation

Yum-y install tigervnc-server

Or

Yum-y install vnc-server

The package tigervnc-server-1.1.0-18.el6.x86_64 is installed.

Configure root password in VNC

[root@fusndb db] # vncserver

You will require a password to access your desktops.

Password:

Verify:

Xauth: creating new authority file / root/.Xauthority

New 'fusndb:1 (root)' desktop is fusndb:1

Creating default startup script / root/.vnc/xstartup

Starting applications specified in / root/.vnc/xstartup

Log file is / root/.vnc/fusndb:1.log

Configure oracle password in VNC

[root@fusndb db] # su-oracle

[oracle@fusndb ~] $vncserver

You will require a password to access your desktops.

Verify:

Xauth: creating new authority file / home/oracle/.Xauthority

New 'fusndb:2 (oracle)' desktop is fusndb:2

Creating default startup script / home/oracle/.vnc/xstartup

Starting applications specified in / home/oracle/.vnc/xstartup

Log file is / home/oracle/.vnc/fusndb:2.log

Save configuration information

Vi / etc/sysconfig/vncservers adds a new line VNCSERVERS= "1:root 2:oracle"

Restart the vncserver service

[root@fusndb db] # service vncserver restart

Shutting down VNC server: 1:root 2:oracle [OK]

Starting VNC server: 1:root

New 'fusndb:1 (root)' desktop is fusndb:1

Starting applications specified in / root/.vnc/xstartup

Log file is / root/.vnc/fusndb:1.log

2:oracle

New 'fusndb:2 (oracle)' desktop is fusndb:2

Starting applications specified in / home/oracle/.vnc/xstartup

Log file is / home/oracle/.vnc/fusndb:2.log

The following represents that four VNC processes are opened on the server side, namely IP:1\ IP:2\ IP:3\ IP:4, where IP:4 is enabled under the root user, and the others are all stadium

How to use the client:

Enter the following

Server IP:VNC user number (192.168.30.138purl 2)

Just enter the password (not the OS login password of the user, but the user password configured in vnc)
