Install dhcp

Yum-y install dhcp

Edit configuration file

Vim / etc/dhcp/dhcpd.conf

# dhcpd.conf

Default-lease-time 600; default lease time unit second

Max-lease-time 7200; maximum lease time in seconds

Subnet 192.168.1.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 {define subnets

Range 192.168.1.100 192.168.1.200; IP address pool

Option domain-name-server 202.96.128.86202.96.128.166; DNS server

Option domain-name "hnzl.com"; optionally set the default search domain

Option routers 192.168.1.1; Gateway

Option broadcast-address 192.168.255.255; optional broadcast address

}

Host fileserver {Host

Hardware ethernet (File Server MAC address)

Fixed-address 192.168.1.2; specify IP address

}

Host printserver {

Hardward ethernet (print server MAC address)

Fixed-address 192.168.1.3; specify IP address

}

Save exit

Service dhcpd start Startup Service

Chkconfig dhcpd on boot up
