3.1 Real-time monitoring function

After logging in, you can first see the "home page" (dashboard), you can see the current bandwidth, system load, the number of online users and so on. There are also some extensions that come with the system, such as "Network Health Detection", "Real-time Link Analysis", "LAN scanning" and other tools.

Click on the traffic map, you can enter the "real-time traffic graph" interface, this page lists the online IP address, mac address, network card manufacturer, real-time bandwidth and other information.

The behavior management of WSG-200P mainly includes "web filtering", "chat filtering", "application filtering", "web push" and "IP-mac binding".

Page filtering includes all the page filtering functions of WFilter NGF, and supports modules such as "website blacklist and whitelist", "URL library filtering", "file download filtering" and so on. With these features, it is convenient to configure policies. Take our company as an example: all video websites are prohibited during office hours, just set the category of "music and video" to "prohibited". You don't have to go around collecting web sites anymore. Of course, categories such as "adult", "*" and "advertising" should be banned around the clock.

Let's take a look at the "application filtering" feature. Personally, I generally do not look at the number of applications, in fact, there are only hundreds of common applications, the key is whether the division of applications meets the needs of management. For example, in our company, a basic requirement is "chat is allowed, but documents are not allowed". Then it requires that "Wechat" and "Wechat transfer files", "QQ" and "QQ transfer files" must be separate applications. Although some products have made a lot of protocols, the fineness of the application is not enough to meet the needs of management.
