Premise: HMC and minicomputer are on the same network and IP is interconnected.

When creating a connected host, enter the host HMC port IP, the password is the default administrative password admin, you must enter this password, otherwise it will show that there is no authorization and firmware password locked, no other passwords can be entered. No matter what the hscroot password you created, the hscroot password prompt is 7 minutes; at this point, you can manage the host with HMC.

Solution:

Step 1: click Update password and enter the password admin

Step 2: enter the password admin again

Step 3: if the host status changes to Recovery

HMC manages the recovery status of one of the servers

Then right-click on the host and select reocovery. Selecting resotre.HMC in the pop-up window will not automatically make recovery.

Step 4: right-click the mini Recover Partion Data.

Step 5: click Restore profile data from HMC backup data

Step 6: this process will take about 20 minutes

Step 7: restore complete

Step 8: change to the standby state

Step 9: open the remote terminal for the HMC host and select the last three items

Enter the IP of the HMC machine
