Fault description

After restarting vCenter server, "503 Service Unavailable (Failed to connect to endpoint: [N7Vmacore4Http20NamedPipeServiceSpecE:0x7f009c095810] _ serverNamespace = / _ isRedirect = false _ pipeName = / var/run/vmware/vpxd-webserver-pipe)" error occurred when accessing vCenter server through vSphere Web Client, and could not log in normally. How can we solve this problem?

Solution method

After restarting vCenter Server, it cannot be accessed through vSphere Web Client. It should be that a service has not been started or started successfully. We can wait a few minutes and try again. If not, we can connect to vCenter Server through SSH and run the command to ensure that the service for vCenter Server is started.

1. Connect through SSH in Putty and log in to vCenter Server.
