Install GNS3

Step 1: extract the GNS3 file (no GNS3 installation package)

Step 2: open the installer.

The installation wizard always defaults to the next step

1.wireshark (bag grabbing tool)

2.solar winds response Time Viewer (security module)

These two items do not need to be installed during our installation. After the GNS3 installation is complete, we will install them by ourselves!

Three: reach the path interface in the next step. It is recommended to install C disk, if there is enough disk space, because another default path is here, if you want to change it, you need to change it again later.

You must pay attention! The path cannot have Chinese and spaces!

Waiting for the GNS3 installation progress to complete, we click next and we will find that there is an option for YES and NO, and the YES option is for a fee, so we click NO.

Remove this option in this step!

Install some of the necessary tools in GNS3

We open the folder we just extracted and choose to open the wireshark tool.

Open for installation, default to the next step.

Check the create desktop icon for ease of use.

Try not to change the installation path, so you don't need to cause yourself any trouble.

We found that the WinPcap tool was installed at the beginning, so let's not check it here, do not install it, and then click install!

Installation completed, do not need to check!

Install IOS Router Image

This will happen after opening GNS3, just close the interface!

There is an image to install IOS. The steps are detailed.

Default is the next step. The Idle-PC value does not need to be entered for the time being.

Adjust the CPU value to reduce Idle utilization

When we use GNS3, we will find that the CPU occupancy rate is very high, then we need to adjust the Idle value to reduce CPU utilization!

Set and adjust the Idle value, both routers must be turned on at the same time!

Start calculating the Idle value, select the number with an asterisk, if not, turn off recalculation or select the lowest number system.

Next step is to install CRT

Open the CRT package and extract it to the current folder. The password is SPOTO.

After decompression, you will find that the cracked patch is isolated, just restore it.

Run the cracked patch as an administrator

Click the generate key first, change the environment variable twice, click the CRT file for the first time, and click on the helper file for the second time.
