If you are employed in a small consulting firm, you may not have the opportunity to participate in major client SAP implementation projects because of platform limitations, so you can only do some small and medium-sized enterprise projects. Most of these projects are private enterprise projects, the project budget is extremely tight, the project cycle is very short, and a variety of requirements make development and enhancement have no bottom line and no integrity. The human value that you can charge to customers cannot break through the bottleneck and cannot be greatly improved.
Even if you leave to do freelancer, if you do a project in a private enterprise, the person-day rate you can get will not be higher than the market average; but if you do a global project for tuhao customers, you will get a relatively high person-day Rate. After the author came out to do freelancer, I worked with a small SAP implementation company to do two projects. The client's budget for the SAP project was more than 3 million, and the cycle was relatively short, so the rate I could get just exceeded the average level in the freelancer market at that time. In the most recent project, SAP Director, the client of a Tuhao SAP project that I had done in a foreign company, came to me to do the project. The rate I can get in this project is considerable, which makes me more satisfied, which makes me deeply and intuitively realize the complete difference of the personal value brought to me by the large platform of a foreign company. If I had not worked on the good platform of a foreign company before, but only in a small company, even if my previous customers invited me to continue to work on their projects as freelancer, since these customers were unlikely to be tuhao customers, the rate I could get would not have been so high. In other words, different platforms, you serve different levels of customers, can be accumulated to the level of customer resources and network resources will be very different.
