­VMware today released Fusion 11 virtual machine software, which supports macOS Mojave and the latest Mac hardware, including 18-core iMac Pro and 2018 MacBook Pro (6-core Intel Core i9). VMware Fusion supports running hundreds of operating systems on Mac computers, including the latest Windows 10, as well as various Linux distributions, such as Ubuntu.

­VMware Fusion has a number of new features and platform enhancements, such as a new user interface. The new application menu makes it easy for users to quickly switch between different virtual machines, create new virtual machines, change the viewing mode and settings, or launch Windows applications with one click.

­Fusion 11 and Fusion 11 Pro both support Apple's Metal graphics rendering engine by default and are compatible with DirectX 10.1. The new version of Fusion 11 also supports Touch Bar. There are also many performance improvements in Fusion 11, such as support for NVMe devices. The Fusion 11 and Fusion 11 Pro prices are $79.99 and $159.99, respectively, and the upgrade prices are $49.99 and $119.99, respectively.
