Two virtual machines are created under vmware workstation

The operating systems are windows server2008 R2 and windows server 2012 R2 respectively.

Server 2008 R2 is set to AD DC, the domain name is test.com, and soft routing is enabled

Server 2012 R2 also enables soft routing.

Add two network cards to the two virtual machines respectively.

One of the two network cards of server 2008 R2 sets the intranet

IP: 192.168.10.6

Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

Gateway: 192.168.10.2

(refer to the net setting of vmware network adapter vmnet8 on the host)

DNS:192.168.10.6.

The other network card is set to the same network segment as the host.

One of the two network cards of the server 2012 R2 is set to the intranet

IP: 192.168.10.65

Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

Gateway: 192.168.10.2 DNSbank 192.168.10.6.

The other network card is set to the same network segment as the host.

Then set the two network cards of the two virtual machines to NAT mode.

In this way, two virtual machines can communicate with each other by ping.

Two virtual machines can ping each other with the host.
