After successfully installing and configuring the server certificate, please back up your server certificate in case it is inconvenient to you if the certificate is lost.

1. Backup of server certificate

Go to the IIS management console and select Server Certificate

Select your server certificate project and right-select "Export"

Enter the exported key file name, storage path:, and set the protection password for the exported pfx format certificate backup file

Save the backup pfx file to complete the backup operation.

two。 Recovery of server certificate

Refer to the second part, "installing the server certificate" section, the intermediate CA installation configuration section installs two intermediate CA certificates into the server. Then go to the server certificate management page of the IIS Management console, right-click and select "Import"

Select your pfx format certificate backup file and enter the key file protection password.

If you select Mark this key as exportable, you can export the private key from the server later. When this option is not selected, the private key cannot be exported from the current server. It is recommended that you save the certificate backup file and leave this option unchecked, which will be more conducive to the security of the server certificate key.
