Different data centers will also have different choices.

For large enterprises, the loss caused by the interruption of the data center for one hour may be able to build several small data centers of about 100 square meters, and if the data is lost, the losses will be more difficult to count.

High availability of the data center, reliability of critical data, security of network transmission, …... Is the focus of consideration for large data centers, so large data centers will not completely migrate data to the public cloud, they are more focused on the application and promotion of private cloud technology in large data centers.

For small data centers, enterprises invest relatively little in IT every year, but the availability of data centers is also required; on the other hand, in order to develop, enterprises also issue a variety of business requirements to IT managers, such as the deployment and operation of CRM.

The pressure of high availability and the satisfaction of business needs make the IT managers of small and medium-sized enterprises aim at the public cloud platform, where IAAS (Infrastructure as a Service), PAAS (platform as a Service) and SAAS (Software as a Service) all have this appropriate choice, and they only need to pay a certain fee to the cloud provider. Therefore, the IT managers of small and medium-sized enterprises are more likely to look for suitable services on the public cloud platform.

Is there no intersection between the public cloud and the private cloud?

Of course not!

Although large enterprises invest more in IT, the global financial crisis is also imperceptibly changing the information consciousness of CIO. Those applications that are more time-consuming in development and more mature in public cloud platform are also the chosen goals of large enterprises. It is believed that "private cloud is dominant, public cloud is secondary" is the future information positioning of large data centers. For small and medium-sized enterprises, with their own data centers, a lot of core data will be retained here. In the future, small and medium-sized enterprises will migrate more services to public clouds, and the business volume of public clouds and private clouds will be basically the same. it may even be a little larger than the application proportion of private cloud.

The transition of traditional applications to the "cloud" is a major trend, and the flexibility of small and medium-sized enterprises makes it easier to migrate their business to the public cloud, but it is not realistic to give up the private cloud at all. however, large enterprises believe that they will not fully deliver all their business to the public cloud, and the "public before private, private and public auxiliary" model will last for a long time. When the technology and application of the public cloud are mature, it will carry more and more business, but the private cloud must have some reservations at any time.
