The linux system tried to mount the windows shared directory, but an error was reported.

Error environment:

Linux centos 6.5

Windows 10 Enterprise Edition

Background:

A shared folder has been created under the newly installed win 10 system, which can be run before if you want to share it to the linux system, the firewall check has been turned off, the sharing permissions have been configured, and the error is still reported. It is suspected that the windows smb service has not been started.

# mount-t cifs / / 10.35.13.182/www/ / home/www-o username=lwy_fly@126.com,password=12321311,rwx,dir_mode=0777,file_mode=0777

Mount error: Host is down

Solution:

Smb service is not enabled by default in the newly installed win10 Enterprise Edition.

Control panel-"programs and functions -" enable or disable Windows function-"smb 1.0/cifs file sharing support -" smb 1.0/cifs server choose to enable and restart the computer.
