According to Expreview, Asustek has a new micro-ATX chassis AP201, which has a large number of cooling options to compete with the best PC chassis on the market.

The AP201 measures 460x205x350mm and has a volume of 33L. It's not the smallest miniature ATX chassis we've ever seen, but it's one of the more spacious chassis. Asustek's chassis includes steel, plastic and fiberglass reinforced ​​ plastics. The box weighs 5.8 kilograms and is available in both white and black colors. It should hold many design ideas.

Although the AP201 is designed for micro-ATX system manufacturers, the chassis can also accommodate the mini-ITX motherboard, but this means that there is a lot of space left. In addition, Asustek has set aside about 32mm of space to facilitate line alignment.

Asus's AP201 supports the best graphics cards, CPU coolers, and power supplies. The chassis can accommodate graphics cards with a maximum length of 338 and CPU air coolers with a height of 17 0mm. In addition, there are four PCI expansion slots on the chassis, so dual SLI or CrossFire settings are not impossible. As for the power supply, as long as the length is between 140mm and 180mm, the AP201 can install equipment of various capacities and form factors.

The chassis has mesh, front and top panels with dust filters to ensure maximum airflow. There are nine fan brackets at the top of the chassis, which can accommodate two 140mm or three 120mm cooling fans at intervals. It also allows two 120mm or 140mm cooling fans to be installed at the front, bottom, or rear of the chassis. However, Asustek only includes a 120mm cooling fan located on the back. The rich cooling options also mean that the chassis supports liquid cooling from 120mm to 360mm radiators.

AP201 offers three drive bays that can hold 3.5in or 2.5in drives and a specific 2.5in drive carrier for SSD. The front Gen O panel consists of two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, a USB Type-C port, a headphone Jack and a microphone Jack.

It is reported that Asustek will launch the AP201 in the middle of next month, with a price of 499 yuan, or about $75. We don't know whether AP201 is unique to the Chinese market, or whether this case will be transferred to us.
