In the past two days, I tried to reinstall an Oracle 11g, but an error occurred during the installation, and I was unable to continue next, lest my forgetful brain write it down first. The reason for this error has not been found out yet, but I guess it may be related to the error in the operation of root.sh during the installation of Grid. Although the implementation error of root.sh was solved at that time, it was temporarily solved by online methods. But there may still be sequelae.

Installed software environment:

CentOS6.5 (2.6.32-573.8.1.el6.x86_64 x861664)

Oracle x64 11gR2

The error is as follows, which roughly means that the default listening configuration cannot be found in GI, so the installation cannot continue.

Check with crs_stat-t-v, and there is no listener.

Srvctl status listener checked and said that listener does not exist.

PRCN-2044:No listener exists

Then add the monitor to the crs with servctl add listener, and add it successfully.

Start listening with srvctl start listener and report the error of TNS directly. It seems that there is a problem with the Listener configured during installation, because Listener exists after you have just seen it with netca.

Since this is the case, just delete the original Listener with netca and reconfigure a new Listener to have a look.

After that, check again with crs_stat-t-v, listener has started normally, and the database installation can continue.
