Shulou(Shulou.com)06/01 Report--

Solaris 10 (x86) to build Oracle 11gR2 RAC-- configure system environment (2)

System environment:

Operating system: Solaris 10 (x86-64)

Cluster: Oracle GRID 11.2.0

Oracle: Oracle 11.2.0.1.0

As shown in the figure: RAC system architecture

For Oracle 11G to build RAC, we first need to build the architecture of GI (Grid Infrastructure).

Install related software and patch packs (all node)

1. Check the software package:

[root@node2:/] # pkginfo-i SUNWarc SUNWbtool SUNWhea SUNWlibm SUNWlibms SUNWsprot SUNWtoo SUNWi1of SUNWi1cs SUNWi15cs SUNWxwfnt

2. Install the software:

Mount the Solaris 10 system installation disk

Grid users:

The procedure is the same as the oracle user!

5. Configure time synchronization (all node)

For Oracle 11gR2, Oracle Cluster Time Synchronization daemon (ctssd) service can be used to synchronize time. There is no need to use the NTP service of the system for synchronization, and it is necessary to shut down the NTP service of the system.

[root@node1:/] # svcs-a | grep ntpdisabled 9:38:42 svc:/network/ntp:defaultdisabled 9:38:43 svc:/network/ntp4:default

-the default has been turned off.
