Wyze is famous for its affordable smart cameras. The company also offers Wyze Sense smart sensors, and just last week, we won the $8 Wyze Bulb our Editor's Choice Award. Today, the company announced the launch of the smart plug Wyze Plug, which can be bought for as little as $15, in partnership with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.

You can use two helpers to turn the Wyze plug-in on or off, or use the Wyze application to control it anytime, anywhere. When connected to a light, TV, or radio, the vacation mode randomly powers your plug to create the illusion that someone is at home. Wyze Plug can also set a schedule to turn the device on or off.

If you already have Wyze Sense devices or Wyze Cam, you can set these devices to trigger Wyze Plug to open or close when the door opens or closes or when motion is detected.

The maximum load of the Wyze Plug is 15 amperes, which ETL lists for safety reasons. Wyze Plug can buy two packs of smart plugs for as little as $15, which is the cheapest price we've ever seen for smart plugs, because SmartThings Wi-Fi smart plugs cost $18.
