Step 1: install apache and configure to support PHP

Click to install the file apache_2.0.50-win32-x86-no_ssl.msi

Install apache in the D:\ apache2 directory (as you like)

Extract the contents of php-5.0.0-Win32.zip into D:\ php

Find the php.ini-dist in the php directory and rename it to php.ini and copy it to the windows directory (winnt in win2k)

For example, my php.ini is copied to D:\ windows directory

Then copy the php5ts.dll,libmysql.dll in the php directory to the system directory (system/system32) if mine is D:\ windows\ system

Configure httpd.conf in apache

Open the file D:\ Apache2\ conf\ httpd.conf

Find AddDefaultCharset ISO-8859-1 and change it to AddDefaultCharset GB2312 (let the default language be encoded in simplified Chinese)

Find DocumentRoot "D:/Apache2/htdocs" and change it to your WEB directory (but do not change it) if mine is DocumentRoot "D:/website"

Find DirectoryIndex index.html index.html.var and add index.htm index.php after that.

Select installation mode: modular mode installation or CGI mode installation (choose one)

Find the line # LoadModule ssl_module modules/mod_ssl.so and add a line after this line

LoadModule php5_module d:/php/php5apache2.dll

Where d:/php/php5apache2.dll is the location of php5apache2.dll in your php directory

Find the line AddType application/x-gzip .gz .tgz and add a line after this line

AddType application/x-httpd-php .php

-CGI installation configuration--

Find the AddType application/x-gzip .gz .tgz line and add the following

ScriptAlias / php/ "d:/php/"

AddType application/x-httpd-php .php

Action application/x-httpd-php "/ php/php-cgi.exe"

At this time, the PHP environment has basically been configured successfully.

Create a file called test.php in the WEB root directory (such as my D:\ website) as follows

Restart the apache service

Open http://localhost/test.php with a browser

If you can see the php configuration output, it will OK.

Step 2 install mysql

Install mysql to the specified directory, for example, mine is d:/mysql. If you download a non-installed mysql package, you can extract it directly to the specified directory.

Then click the file D:\ mysql\ bin\ winmysqladmin.exe, where D:\ mysql is your mysql installation directory

Enter the initial user and password of winmysqladmin (note: this is not the user and password in mysql). Don't worry about it.

After confirming, a traffic light icon appears in the launch bar of your task in the lower right corner. The red light indicates that the service is stopped, and the green light indicates that the service is normal. Left-click this icon-> winnt- > install the service to install this service.

Then left-click the icon-> winnt- > start the service to start the mysql service

Modify the root password of the mysql database

Enter the following command in cmd mode: (note: d:\ mysql is the mysql installation directory)

Cd d:\ mysql\ bin

Mysqladmin-u root-p password 123456

Enter appears

Enter password: (note: this is to ask you to enter the original password. The password is empty at the beginning of installation, so you can enter directly)

At this point, the password of the account root in mysql is changed to 123456 and installed.

Configure php.ini and test mysql (php.ini is php.ini under d:\ windows)

Find extension_dir = ". /" and change it to extension_dir = "d:/php/ext"

Replace'; 'with

Extension=php_mysql.dll

; session.save_path = "/ tmp"

Remove the directory where you saved the session, such as

Session.save_path = "D:/php/session_temp"

Restart the apache service

Create a testdb.php file under the Web root directory (such as D:\ website) as follows:

IV. Installation and configuration of phpmyadmin

Extract phpMyAdmin-2.5.7.zip into the WEB root directory and rename the folder to phpmyadmin or other

Open config.inc.php in the phpmyadmin directory

find

$cfg ['Servers'] [$I] [' user'] = 'root'

$cfg ['Servers'] [$I] [' password'] = '123456'

Just fill in your mysql user and password respectively.
