Syntax: onspaces -a [-m] [-o] [-p]

-a adds chunk to the dbspace or blobspace the name refers to

-m pathname offser Pathname and offset of mirror device

-o offset offset

-p pathname Disk partition or device name

-s size chunk size

Example: onspaces -a dbspac -o 0 -p /home/informix/chunk/chunk2 -s 2000

1.4. Remove chunks with the onspaces command

Syntax: onspaces -d [-m] [-o] [-p]

2.1. Add logical logs via onparams command

Syntax: onprams -a [-d] [-s]

-a Add a logical log file

-d dbspace dbspace where the new log file is located

-s size The size of the new log file

2.2. Delete logical logs via onparams command

Syntax: onparams -d [-l]

-d Delete a logical log file

-l Number of deleted log file

2.3. Change physical logs with onparams command

Syntax: onparams -p [-d] [-s]

-p Change physical log files

-d dbspace dbspace where the physical log file is located

-s size The size of the physical log file

2.3. The onmode -l command is used to switch logical logs
