Shulou(Shulou.com)06/01 Report--
This article mainly explains "what are the points for attention in using .removeProp". Friends who are interested might as well take a look. The method introduced in this paper is simple, fast and practical. Let's let the editor take you to learn "what are the points for attention in using .removeProp"?
.removeProp (propertyName)
Description: removes an attribute (property) for matching elements in the collection.
PropertyName
Type: String
The name of the attribute to be removed.
The .removeProp () method is used to delete the property set set by the .prop () method.
If you try to remove some built-in attributes (property) on DOM elements or window objects, the browser may generate an error. If it does, jQuery will first set the property to undefined and then ignore any errors generated by the browser. In general, you only need to remove custom attributes (property), not built-in (native) attributes (property).
Note: do not use this method to delete native properties (property), such as checked, disabled, or selected. This removes the attribute completely, and once removed, it cannot be added to the element again. Use .prop () to set these properties to false instead.
Additional Notes (other considerations):
In version 9 before Internet Explorer, when using .prop () to set the attribute of the DOM element for assignment, the type assigned was not a primitive type (number, string, or boolean), and the .removeProp () method was not used before the DOM element was removed from the document. To safely assign values on DOM objects without worrying about memory leaks, use the .data () method.
Example:
Set a paragraph number property and delete it.
Img {padding:10px;}
Div {color:red; font-size:24px;}
Var $para = $("p")
$para.prop ("luggageCode", 1234)
Para.append ("The secret luggage code is:", String ($para.prop ("luggageCode")), ".")
$para.removeProp ("luggageCode")
Para.append ("Now the secret luggage code is:", String ($para.prop ("luggageCode")), ".")
Demo:
The secret luggage code is: 1234. Now the secret luggage code is: undefined.
At this point, I believe you have a deeper understanding of "what to pay attention to using .removeProp". You might as well do it in practice. Here is the website, more related content can enter the relevant channels to inquire, follow us, continue to learn!
