Prepare the active Directory test user

For desktop virtualization scenarios, active Directory is basically a must-have component, and the first step in the LoginVSI page wizard is to prepare active Directory

Because we all log in with domain users in the test environment, and the relevant users are automatically generated for testing in the Login VSI environment. In Base OU, we select the OU "Test" created in AD to store LoginVSI users.

Other options are described as follows:

Password: the default password for all users. The default is Password!, or you can use the

ForMating Length: if you select 1, the automatically generated user suffixes are LoginVSI1, LoginVSI2

If you select 2, the automatically generated user suffixes are LoginVSI01, LoginVSI02

Launcher User: the AD user is the account used to log in to the Launcher machine.

Finally, save the configuration information in PS1 format, save the file to VSIShare or copy it to the domain control local

Log in to the domain control server as a domain administrator and run the PS1 script you just generated to create relevant test users, groups, OU, and group policies.

Note: since the default powershell forbids the execution of script files, please set the powershell policy to unlimited before executing the file

Set-executionpolicy unrestricted

Next, execute the script file

After the execution, check that the corresponding users, groups and OU have been automatically created under the Test OU of the active directory.

Target is an automatically created test user with the beginning of LoginVSI

Launcher-v4 users are also created successfully

All the above users are members of the LoginVSI group

Note: add the loginvsi group to the local administrator of the LoginVSI server and the Launcher-v4 user to the local administrator of the Launcher machine below.

It is important to note that you should also open the Group Policy Manager and see that two Group policies have also been automatically created under LoginVSI under Test OU, which will be used in later testing.
