This article is about the use of UNetbootin tools. The editor thought it was very practical, so I shared it with you to learn. The following information is about the introduction and use of UNetbootin tools.

UNetbootin Chinese version

UNetbootin (Universal Netboot Installer) is a cross-platform tool software that can be used to build Live USB systems, load various system tools, or install a variety of Linux operating systems (Linux suites) and other operating systems without the need for an installation CD (automatically downloaded over the network).

With UNetbootin, you can easily install the Linux operating system into a USB disk. You can plug the USB disk into the USB interface. Note: be sure to plug in the flash drive before running UNetbootin! Then run the UNetbootin software from the menu "applications-system tools". Then put your iso file on the U disk, restart the computer, and set the U disk as the first boot device, you can start the operating system in the U disk.

UNetbootin allows various Linux/BSD distributions to be installed on a real partition, so it is no different from a standard installation, except for its advantage: no CD disc is required. So it can be used to install a standard dual system, or to completely replace the existing operating system with GNU/Linux.

Select an ISO file or download a distribution, select the target disk (USB disk or hard drive), and then restart it. If your USB disk does not appear in the list, format it as a FAT32 file system.

Unetbootin is cross-platform (available for Windows and Linux) and uses Syslinux for non-destructive installation (without formatting the device). It supports mainstream Linux distributions such as Ubuntu,Fedora, openSUSE,CentOS,Debian,Gentoo,Linux Mint,Arch Linux,Mandriva,Mepis,Slackware as well as FreeDOS,FreeBSD and NetBSD. It can load various system utilities, such as Ophcrack,BackTrack. Other operating systems can be loaded from pre-downloaded ISO images or floppy / hard drive disk image files.
