ATT unveiled a new tool on Wednesday that can crack down on spammers and roaming callers for a long time. If you ask anyone who is frustrated by a spam attack, the caller ID will appear soon.

If the incoming call ID comes from a fraudulent number or an invalid phone, the display will warn the recipient. Or, if ATT has determined that the incoming call is from a valid source, a green check mark is displayed. It doesn't seem to be for everyone, but at least not directly. ATT's announcement points out that most customers using Samsung Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 or LG V40 ThinQ will see the new special display.

"this is another step in taming annoying and unpopular robot calls," Kevin Peterson, senior vice president of ATT, said in an announcement on the new features. "in the coming year, we will continue to do more to put more pressure on the bad guys." Customers who use the ATT phone digital home service can also activate this feature. After completion, they will see "[V]" when the call is confirmed to be valid.

Calls with "valid numbers" have been verified to increase customer trust, but calls without tags may still be legitimate calls. With the passage of time, the identification tools of ATT will become more and more perfect.

Some Android phone users mentioned at the top of this article were the first to get this feature. It will soon be used on other mobile phones. If you do not see call authentication on these devices when you receive the latest software updates, simply download the ATT call protection application or turn on the service through the account settings in myATT.

ATT digital home phone users can choose to obtain ATT digital phone call protection and call authentication, and enter the account settings to open in myATT.

In the new year, more mobile devices will join the verification.
