I. Archived switch

1. Check whether the archive is open:

SQL> archive log list;

2. Set the archive path

SQL> alter system set log_archive_dest_1='location=d:\arch3';

3. Open file

SQL> shutdown immediate; --shutdown database

SQL> startup mount; --Start to mount state

SQL> alter database archivelog; --Open archive

SQL> alter database open; --Open database

4. Close the database archive

SQL> shutdown immediate;

SQL> startup mount;

SQL> alter database noarchivelog;

SQL> alter database open;

II. Switch of flashback zone

1. Check whether the flashback area is opened

SQL> select flashback_on from v$database;

2. Set the size of flashback recovery area

SQL> alter system set db_recovery_file_dest_size=30G scope=both;

3. Set the path of flashback recovery area

SQL> alter system set db_recovery_file_dest='/u01/flashback' scope=both;

4. Start flashback

SQL> shutdown immediate;

SQL> startup mount;

SQL> alter database flashback on; --Enable flashback

SQL> alter database open;

5. Close flashback

SQL> alter database flashback off;
