I. what is WDS deployment

Windows deployment service (Windows Deployment Services, abbreviated WDS) is suitable for the deployment of computer operating systems in large and medium-sized networks. You can use the Windows deployment service to manage images and unattended installation scripts, and provide options for manual and unattended installation.

WDS services work with DHCP services and Windows active directory domain services to remotely install and deploy operating systems for clients that support PXE startup

2. Let's install DHCP+WDS on the service first.

Let's go to WDS deployment to set up our program.

Let's first let the virtual machine detect our image file.

Let's start to create a DHCP service.

Next, let's go to the server to set a network address.

Let's go to the start menu and find the DHCP service.

3. We started using WDS deployment, and let's start by building a virtual machine to start the installation.

Hardware compatibility option: Workstation 14.x, click next. (Win10 systems are not supported in versions prior to 10)

Name the virtual machine: first create a new folder in your other disk, fill in the name, choose a path that does not allow Chinese, the space of the Chinese input method does not count as two Chinese bytes, do not install it on disk C will affect the speed of the virtual machine, it is best to put it in a mechanical disk or solid state, under the folder you created in other hard drives.

Firmware type: Win10 selects UEFI (E), UEFI is a safe boot, Win7 is not recommended, Win7 can choose BIOS.
