In the early days of National Day, Oracle 11 was installed on CentOS 6.5. everything was normal at that time. I took a day off before the festival and called me to say that the system could not log in from the command line. Enter the user name and password, and then jump to the login interface, so I had to push it to the end of the day.

I checked it yesterday and checked the log. There was an error in the secure below / var/log/:

PAM adding faulty moudle: / lib/security/pam_limits.so

It seems that there is no pam_limits.so file under / lib/security. I went to check that there is no file, but there is one under / lib64/security.

After thinking about it, when you install Oracle, you modify the / etc/pam.d/login file to add the following:

Session required / lib/security/pam_limits.so

Modify the login file again, change lib to lib64, save and restart, and the problem is solved.

When installing some applications, it is sometimes necessary to pay attention to the difference between the file storage locations of 64-bit and 32-bit systems.
