InStride, the world's leading provider of strategic corporate education, has announced the addition of two members to its InStride Advisory Committee (IAB), further strengthening the relationship between InStride and its corporate partners and their workforce that seek education and development.

Chuck Rubin, former chairman and chief executive officer of Michaels Corporation (Nasdaq: MIK) and Tom O. Staggs, former chief operating officer of Walt Disney Co. (NYSE: DIS), will join the four previously announced IAB members, effective immediately.

Michaels former chairman and Chuck Rubin led more than 50, 000 team members to win customer service and was recognized by the Fortune 500 in the United States. Under his leadership, in just six years, the company achieved sales growth of nearly $1 billion, a year-on-year increase of 23%. Previously, Rubin served as CEO and president of Ulta Beauty (Nasdaq: Ulta) and its 14000 employees, creating a competitive advantage in the cosmetics industry by changing customers' shopping experience. Rubin also served for six years as President of North American Retail at office depot (NYSE: ODP) and as a partner at Accenture (NYSE: ACN). He is currently a member of Ascena Retail's board of directors.

Tom Staggs has worked for the Walt Disney Company for nearly 27 years, most recently as the company's chief operating officer. After 12 years as Disney's chief financial officer, he became the global chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. During his tenure at Disney, Staggs helped develop Disney's business, operational and creative strategies across the company's divisions and spearheaded many of Disney's most important initiatives, including the acquisition of Cap city/ABC, Pixar and Marvel. During his tenure as president of Disneyland, Staggers was responsible for more than 140000 actors and oversaw the largest expansion and growth period in the history of the business. He is currently Executive Chairman of Vanguard Nutrition platform Vejo and co-founder of CAMM, a leading company dedicated to the development, manufacture and distribution of eco-positive water-soluble plastic alternatives for packaging, utensils and other applications. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Spotify Technology (NYSE: SPOT) and a member of the Supervisory Board of the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.

Through today's announcement, there are already six former executives from leading companies in the industry.
