Today I share with you about Exchange 2016 proxy sending emails to the send items folder of the proxy mailbox.

Exchange 2016 from RTM onwards, only Shared Mailbox can be set agent sent mail can be synchronized to the proxy mailbox, ordinary user mailbox can not, but in Exchange 2016 CU6 update, Microsoft also turned on the ordinary user mailbox this function.

Here are the settings

Set-Mailbox -Identity useraccount -MessageCopyForSendOnBehalfEnabled $true

$true to enable this feature,$false to disable it.

You can also set the same function of SendAs as follows:

Set-Mailbox -Identity useraccount -MessageCopyForSentAsEnabled $true

$true for open,$false for closed

The following are examples:

Hou Liangping Agent Sha Ruijin sends an email to Gao Yuliang

Gao Yuliang received the email.

The mail is also synchronized to Sha Ruijin's Sent Items Folder
