Huawei AR3260 forgot password reset method (also suitable for other models of the same series)

Use a computer to connect a router through a Console port using a serial port cable

Restart the router and press Ctrl+B when the router appears the following prompt to enter the BootROM menu.

After pressing Ctrl+B, enter the initial password: Admin@huawei to enter the BootROM menu.

After entering the BootROM menu, select item 7 to enter the Password Manager menu.

Enter your choice (1-6): 7

Select item 2 to clear the Console login password.
